Good thing the SMS messages were included in his plan, or he could have ended up with an unpayable bill.
Greg Hardesty of the Orange County Register has described himself as “speechless” after his 13-year-old daughter “racked up 14,528 text messages in one month”, as the shaken dad himself put it last week.

Personally, I think no child should have a cell phone unless for emergencies, like school trips or going away somewhere that they may need to call for help. Text messaging someone sitting 3 feet from you is just plain stupid. We have become so anti-social, that pretty soon, we will live attached to a toilet with conveyer belts to bring us food while a water-proof computer sits at our finger tips and we never leave the confines of our tomb. (Ok, that is a bit morbid and will never happen, but I can see the decline of civilization due to mobile devices that serve no purpose other than to make us fat and lazy while developing serious social and communication problems at the same time.)

I’m 15 no cell phone. That girl should pay it
. Get a job when I was nine I was doing chores around the house for a dollar then 12 more chores for three dollars and recently I have had a couple side jobs working for my mom’s boss shredding papers and sorting magazines (He has a lot of magazines)
