06/2000 ----------------------- Under Cover Cop- Inspired strictly by the panning riff, this song came about as an attempt to capture a nice drum and bass riff with really tight crunchy guitars. Melody alone came from just a simple jam on the riff. The name came from a recurring line in my head from a Snoop Dogg/Dr.Dre song where he says "187 on an under cover cop". I had thrown the idea around with sampling it to put in there just for fun to see if it would fit but I decided not to go that route. I like the way it turned out and is probably one of my best songs to date. If you get a chance to put this on a cd, play it in a really nice system, preferably a car stereo wit the right systm, this song pumps! Turn it the f**k up!! It will totally sound tight as hell in any system regardless, so im quite proud of this one. All instruments played by me. ----------------------- Wizard Of Acid - Taken from the movie Wizard of Oz, I sampled the movie scene from where the house gets caught in the Twister and rearranged it adding loops and beats to my liking. Insane but there is a melody, you just need to give it a few listens to see where it is going. Mainly done in the vein of noisecore and industrial. ----------------------- Hich Tension Lines Over Rythm: I had to take a piss really bad one day and stopped right under the High Tension Lines around the corner from my house. They give off a loud buzzing noise and caused me to think about how static electric they we're. You can feel the electricity if you stand right under them. I went home thinking about them and how they sounded and was inspired to record the electricity and static of the lines and make music out of it. So here you have a song, completely constructed around the noise of electricity and static, with some rythm parts recorded in my bedroom. (All samples were created by myself. No sample cd's or loops made from other sources except one beat that appears about half way through. All beats and samples were manipulated using soundforge, cool edit and Logic Audio while recording in my bedroom.) ----------------------- Eleventh Of September: Coincidently I recorded and Finished this song, one year to that date of the tragic events of September Eleventh, 2001. Thus, the Title came from the inspiration, hatred, anger and sadness of that day. Im debating on wether it needs lyrics or not, for now it is here in intrumental form. ----------------------- Bomb Bastic: Just messing around with some loops and shit. This reminded me of bombs falling and hitting hte ground for some reason. It's still largely un- finished, but the demo of it is here for you to review. ----------------------- Going Insane: This song sort of happend by accident. Being all fucked up on sleep deporvation and my friend Paul stopping by at like 4am, I found myself playing some music for him, in turn ended up recording it while he sat, watched and listend to it as I made it. Sort or trippy how it came about. But anyway, I felt sort of insane at the time and it lead to this track. ----------------------- Hard As Nails: One night I was goinf through an old box of things and came across my NIN Downward Spiral tape. I dont use tapes any more and forgot I even had the damn thing. After listening to it I realised I didnt even like half of the songs on it and from the songs I did like they sort of inspired a little guitar playing and lead to this song. Still workin on lyrics for it. ----------------------- Winding Down: This is all emo/indie rock. Dirty guitars, emotional lows and highs. Just a fun quick-ee! ----------------------- My Whole Life: Just some stupid self ranting. Gothic blahs will like it. Emo rock, sad guitar solos, etc. ----------------------- Start Again Waltz: Another accident caughton tape. Never intended to make a Waltz(waltz time = 1,2,3, 1,2,3, 1,2,3, etc) but it sort of happend on its own. ----------------------- That 70's Acoustic Feel: Jazzy acoustic pop rock with a sort of Seventies feel, pretty self ex- planatory. Mood music. ----------------------- The Jazzy Bass Song: This song started out by staggering the Bass tracks, overlapping the start of each one at different times, then I added the drums doing the same thing and thus srtated this little jazzy thing. Solo added gived it a little spacey, satriani feel. ----------------------- From Above: Recorded a year ago, sort of about what the people on the planes of the September 11 flights were thinking. Just found a copy the other day and decided to upload it. Forgot it even existed. Guess things happen that way for a reason. I initially didnt like the recording, but it now makes more sense to me, even though I wrote it. It has more meaning a year after all hat has happened and I felt it needed to be heard. ----------------------- Dont Tell Me: Left over track that was going to be a Twisted Pair song, but have chosen to keep it an instrumental. Sort of Triabl Metal Industrial feel. ----------------------- By the way, I play all the instruments on all these except for some of the sampled drum beats I effected on certain songs.
